My Gymclub Strives for Excellence at the Tilburg Men's Gymnastics Championships: Double Gold, Silver, and Bronze for Martijn Maas and Fredje Blijden

Tilburg, July 2, 2023: My Gymclub is thrilled to announce the outstanding achievements of its talented gymnasts, Martijn Maas and Fredje Blijden, at the prestigious Tilburg Men's Gymnastics Championships. The event, held on Sunday, brought together participants from various cities, including Veldhoven, Eindhoven, Best, Geldrop, Tilburg, Helmond, Roosendaal, Waalwijk, Prinsenbeek, Zwijndrecht, Venray, Oss, Sas van Gent, Someren, Asten, and Zierikzee. The tournament showcased a remarkable field of competitors, ranging from Ere-divisie to the lowest divisions.

Representing My Gymclub in the second division seniors category, Martijn and Fredje displayed exceptional skill and determination. In a highly intense competition, our gymnasts showcased their remarkable abilities, earning the club an impressive array of medals. We are delighted to share the remarkable results achieved by our athletes.

These extraordinary accomplishments are a testament to the dedication, hard work, and outstanding training at My Gymclub. Our gymnasts have demonstrated their unwavering commitment to excellence, showcasing continuous growth and development. Although our training facilities at the gym are primarily designed for women's gymnastics due to historical reasons, we are immensely proud of the results we have achieved. My Gymclub recognizes the need to further support and promote competitive gymnastics for men in the coming years. Despite our focus on the fundamental aspects of movement, we remain committed to fostering an environment where individuals can pursue their passion for competitive gymnastics.

Tom van der Vorst the coach of My Gymclub, shares his enthusiasm for the team's achievements, stating, "We are fortunate to train in an excellent facility, well-maintained by the municipality of Eindhoven. While the gym is primarily tailored for women's gymnastics, we are pleased with the remarkable results. Moving forward, we aim to continue supporting individuals who aspire to participate in competitive gymnastics, despite our primary focus on the fundamentals of movement, which are inherently beneficial."
